DLP PROJECTORSanyo's PDG-DWT50L is one of the smartest in its line of DLP projectors. A dual-lamp system produces 4,500 lumens with a 2100:1 contrast ratio and a widescreen 1280x768 native resolution. Featuring Texas Instruments' Dynamic Black and BrilliantColor, the projector is compatible with 1080i, 720p, 480p, and 480i sources as well as with all computer formats, such as UXGA, SXGA+, SXGA, WXGA, XGA, SVGA, VGA, and MAC. Inputs for DVI-D, RGB, Component video, S-Video, and Composite are provided, and a standard RJ45 LAN connector allows complete administrative control.
The DVDO iScan VP50Pro from Anchor Bay Technologies is a video processor with THX certification, signifying that it meets theater-quality standards. It also uses HDMI 1.3 receiver/transmitter chips that allow users to connect it to other HDMI-compliant 1.3 devices, such as HD DVD, Blu-Ray, and PS3. It includes Anchor Bay's Video Reference Series technologies — Mosquito Noise Reduction, Fine Detail Enhancement, and Edge Enhancement — for high-quality compressed and low-resolution content from STBs, DVRs, DVDs, IPTV, and other digital devices viewed on HD displays.
